DMT –  Use the Data migration tool to migrate from Dynamics AX 2009 to finance and operations – Part 2

  1. From where you have extracted the zip file look for “defaultvalue.xlsx” file.

Please note the file is saved as .xlsx. Please save as .xlsx and do not change the extension. When you give this as an input to the Default Configuration parameter value in the next step, select All Files to select .xlsx file. Failure to follow this step will cause downstream errors during generate mappings.

2. Sample parameters shown below

  • Default config (step 1 excel path)
  • Export and import path (Server path which can be accessed by service)
  • SQL User (AX 2009 Data base sql authentication credentials)
  • DIXF service host name : DIXF service installation host name,
  • Dynamics 365 for operations:
    • Parameters to connect to target D365 Finance and operations services.
